NHS Scotland launched the Protect Scotland app last week. It is an important tool in the battle against COVID-19 and we would encourage all eligible members of the school community to install the app on their iOS and Android phones.
Some key information about the app:
- The app will alert you if you come into close contact with someone who then tests positive for COVID-19
- If you yourself test positive for COVID-19 you will be provided with a code that will allow you to use the app to alert others with whom you have been in contact with
- The app is entirely anonymous and at no point is your name or any personal details stored or shared
- The app is intended for people who are 16 years old and over
