P7 – S1 Transition 2020

Welcome to St Augustine’s RC High School. We are delighted to hear that you will be joining us in August 2020 and look forward to meeting you soon.

Information for Parents and Carers is further down this page.

I am sure that you will be facing a range of emotions at present in connection with school – excitement at moving to a new school, sadness at leaving old friends and Primary teachers, worried, anxious, joy to name but a few!

Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, we have been unable to have our normal transition visits- either in your Primary School or inviting you and your parents to make an appointment in St Augustine’s. At the time of setting this page up, I do not know whether we will be able to meet face-to-face at all before the summer. We are, however, planning to make your transition to St. Augustine’s as smooth as possible.

Some of you may have been looking at some of the documents which have been put on the St Augustine’s P7-S1 Transition Teams Page to find out information about the school. However, I am aware that some schools are using other ways for home-schooling and some people (myself included) are more confident looking at a website rather than trying to find things on Teams!!!

Here are some documents which may help you feel less anxious about moving to High School.

Keep coming back to this page or checking the Teams group as there are new things being added.
